Dr. Diane Snyder
Vice Chancellor for Finance & Administration @Alamo Colleges District
Dr. Diane Snyder serves as the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration at the Alamo Colleges District (ACD). Diane is the Chief Operations and Financial Officer serving over 80,000 credit and non-credit students across five colleges. Her team of 450+ employees are responsible for budgets, payroll, payables, treasury, debt management, billing, grants, purchasing, accounting, public safety, financial aid, student contact center, and facilities construction and operations. In May 2017, Diane completed her Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration at the University of Texas at Austin. She holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of North Texas, a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Behavior from Leslie College. She was selected into the inaugural class of the 2016-17 Aspen Presidential Fellowship for Community College Excellence. Other honors include being recognized in 2019 by the San Antonio Women’s’ Chamber of Commerce Constellation of Stars.
Sarah Van Cleef
Vice President for Financial & Administrative Affairs & CFO @Tyler Junior College
Sarah Van Cleef serves as Vice President for Financial and Administrative Affairs and Chief Financial Officer at Tyler Junior College. Her numerous responsibilities include all things accounting, finance, campus services, financial aid, facilities and construction as well as residential life and housing. Ms. Van Cleef is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and earned her Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Houston at Clear Lake and MBA from The University of Texas at Tyler. She joined TJC in 1999, and each year, the College has received the GFOA Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. Ms. Van Cleef is a member of the Tyler and Smith County Tax Abatement Committees and Tyler and Lindale Tax Increment Financing Committees. Her civic involvement includes Christian Women’s Job Corps, Junior League, Tyler Museum of Art and Women’s Symphony League. She is the proud mother of two grown sons, Adam and Zach.
